1 | lb | Mozzarella sliced thin |
2 | | Cloves garlic finely chopped ( or jarred) |
1/4 | c | Olive oil |
1/2 | ts | Dried sweet basil |
1/2 | ts | Oregano |
1/2 | ts | Salt and pepper |
1/2 | ts | Red pepper flakes |
1 | ts | Fresh chopped parsley |
Mix all spices in olive oil. Let stand for about 15 min. Slice cheese as
thin as possible and place on a platter over decorative lettuce (red leaf
or green leaf) with anchovies and/or roasted peppers. Pour spiced mixture
over cheese and serve with toasted Italian bread. (wrv)
