1/2cShortening
1/2cSugar
1 Egg, beaten
2cFlour, sifted
1/2tsSalt
2 1/2tsBaking powder
1/2cMilk
2 1/2cBlueberries, fresh or frozen

Cream the shortening and sugar; add the beaten egg and mix well. Mix together and sift flour, salt and baking powder; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Spread dough in a greased 8x8x2 inch pan. Spread the blueberries over dough. Mix and sift together 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour, and 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon; cut in 1/3 cup of margarine or butter and a crumbly mixture results. Spread this mixture over the blueberries. Bake in a moderately hot oven, 375 degrees F. 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Serve warm from the oven.
