Title: Everyday Herb Rice

Yield: 4 Servings
1 | tb | Dried onion flakes; |
1/2 | tb | Dried celery flakes; |
2 | tb | Dried parsley; |
1/2 | ts | Dried garlic flakes; |
1 | tb | Dried green pepper flakes; |
1/2 | ts | Ground tumeric; |
1 | tb | Chicken flavored granules; or bouillion |
1 | ts | Sugar; |
1/4 | ts | Salt; |
1 | pn | Ground cloves; |
1/2 | c | Wild OR brown rice; |
2 1/2 | c | Water; |
1 | c | Scallion; chopped green with some white |
In a small bowl, combine the first 10 ingredients. In a medium saucepan, combine the rice, water, and the herb mixture. Bring to a boil, partially cover, lower the heat, and simmer for 45 minutes, or until the rice is cooked. Fluff with a fork. Fold in the scallions and serve at once.
