Title: Granny Smith's No-Sugar Apple Sauce

Yield: 1 Batch

4 Granny Smith Apples; peeled, cored, and sliced into 16ths
3/4c-Water
  Ground Cinnamon or Allspice; To taste (opt.)

Place apples and water in heavy saucepan, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, 10 to 12 minutes, or until apples are tender. Stir apples or break up with a fork to achieve desired consistency. Makes 2 1/2 cups. Season with ground cinnamon. Serve with French toast, pancakes or muffins.
