3 | c | (1 lb.) cooked chicken breasts, shredded |
1 | c | (1 small) diced tart apple |
1 | c | (2 stalks) diced celery |
1/2 | c | Coarsely chopped walnuts, toasted |
DRESSING |
1/2 | c | Light sour cream |
1/2 | c | Light mayonnaise |
1 | tb | Dijon-style mustard |
1 | tb | Freshly squeezed lemon juice |
1/4 | c | Freshly grated parmesan cheese |
1 | tb | Chopped fresh basil leaves OR 1 tsp. dried basil |
1/4 | ts | Coarsely cracked pepper |
1/4 | ts | Salt |

In large bowl combine all spread ingredients; set aside. In small bowl
combine all dressing ingredients; mix well. Stir dressing into spread
ingredients, mixing well. Refrigerate 1 hour to blend flavors. Use as a
bread spread or filling for sandwiches. Yield: 6 cups.
