Title: Pecan Spread **

8ozCream cheese
2tbMilk
1/2cSour cream
1/4cGreen pepper; finely chopped
1tbInstant minced onion
1/2tsGarlic salt
2 1/2ozDried beef; chopped, 1 jar
1/2cPecans; coarsely chopped
2tsButter
1/2tsSalt
VARIATION
8ozCream cheese
1/2cSour cream
2tbDry Onion Soup mix
2tbMilk
2 1/2ozDried beef; 1 jar
1cnDeviled ham

Blend softened cream cheese, milk and sour cream. Add green pepper, onion and garlic salt. Fold in dried beef. Put into 8-inch pie pan. In small pan, melt butter, add salt and pecans. Heat. Sprinkle pecans over above mixture. Bake in preheated 350~ oven for 20 minutes. Serve hot with crackers. Serves 10-12.

Prepare variation recipe same way and top with pecan butter mixture.
