2 | tb | Basil, chopped fresh |
1 | tb | Green pepper, finely chopped |
1 | ts | Lemon juice |
1/4 | ts | Worcestershire sauce |
1/4 | ts | Lemon peel, grated |
1/8 | ts | Salt |
1/8 | ts | Tabasco Sauce |
Pit and chop the fresh OR frozen dark sweet cherries and combine with all
other ingredients; refrigerate at least 1 hour. Serve as a condiment with
chicken; turkey or pork. Yield: 3/4 cup. Diabetic Exchange: 2 T 1/2 fruit.
