Title: Belizian Style Habanero Hot Sauce

1 | sm | Onion, chopped |
1 | tb | Vegetable oil |
1 | c | Carrots, chopped |
2 | c | Water |
6 | Habanero chilies, stem and seeds removed, | |
Inced | ||
Minced | ||
3 | tb | Lime juice (fresh) |
3 | tb | White vinegar |
1 | ts | Salt |
Saute onion in oil until soft. Add carrots and water.Bring to boil,reduce heat,and simmer until the carrots are soft. Remove from heat . Add chilies,lime juice and salt to the carrot mixture. Place in processor and puree until smooth.Pour into sterilized jars and seal. Recipe by: Too Many Chilies
