Title: Deluxe Fruit Kugel

Yield: 16 Servings
1/2 | lb | Noodles; medium width |
1 | lb | Cream cheese |
1/2 | lb | Butter; |
2 | tb | Butter |
1 | pt | Sour cream |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1 1/2 | c | Sugar |
8 | Eggs | |
11 | oz | Can mandarin oranges;drained |
8 | oz | Can crushed pineapple drained |
4 | oz | Walnuts |
1 | ts | Cinnamon |
Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and place in a 4 quart bowl.
Add the cream cheese, the 1/2 lb butter and 1/2 the sour cream to the food processor work bowl; blend until smooth. Scrape down the sides of work bowl. Add the remaining sour cream, vanilla, 1 cup sugar and eggs; process until combined. Gently combine with the noodles. Stir the oranges and pineapple in by hand and pour mixture into a buttered 9" x 13" ovenproof dish. The mixture will almost overflow. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate over night.
When ready to bake place in a preheated 350~ oven for 50 minutes.
Combine the walnuts with remaining 1/3 cup sugar and the cinnamon; sprinkle mixture on top of kugel. Dot with remaining 2 tbs. butter and bake for 20 minutes more. Serve warm or at room temperature. Makes 16 servings.
