1/4 | c | Butter or margarine; softend |
2 | tb | Sugar |
1 | | Egg |
2 | c | Flour |
1 | tb | Baking powder |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1 | c | Milk |
3/4 | c | Dates; chopped |
4 | sl | Bacon; cooked, crumbled |
Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add egg, beat until well
combined. Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mix alternately with
milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Stir in dates and crumbled
bacon. Spoon batter into greased muffin cups, filling 2/3 full. Bake at
400~ for 20 minutes.
