1/2 | c | Sugar |
3 | tb | Light brown sugar |
1/2 | c | Water |
1/2 | c | Orange juice |
1/4 | c | Lemon juice |
1 1/2 | ts | Vanilla extract |
8 | c | Fruit, fresh; melon balls, strawberries, peach slices, grn g |
Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 5 to 8 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in vanilla. Arrange fruit in a large bowl; pour syrup over fruit and toss gently. Chill several hours or overnight.
