Title: Tutu's Sour Cream Muffins

Yield: 12 Servings
1 | egg | |
1 T | B butter -- softened | |
1 c | sour cream | |
3 T | B sugar | |
1 1 | /3 c | all-purpose flour |
1 t | s baking powder | |
1 | /2 t | s baking soda |
1 | /2 t | s salt |
1 | /4 t | s nutmeg |

6 T | B butter -- melted | |
1 | /2 c | sugar |
1 t | s cinnamon |
Sift the dry ingredients together and set aside. Beat egg until light and fluffy. Beat in the butter and sour cream. Gradually add the sifted dry ingredients. Do *NOT* over mix. Grease muffin tins and fill about 2/3 full. Bake in a 400 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. The muffins are great just like this, but they're outrageously good if you "top" them. TOPPING Right from the oven dip the top of each muffin in melted butter and then immediately into the sugar cinnamon mixture. These are onolicious! Me ke aloha, Mary
