Title: Whole Wheat Apple Raisin Bread

INGREDIENTS | ||
16 | oz | Gold Medal Whole Wheat Blend |
Or 1/2 ea WW and Bread Flour | ||
1 1/2 | tb | Dry milk powder |
1 1/2 | ts | Salt |
1/2 | c | Applesauce; Mott's Natural |
3/8 | c | Raisins; (2-1/4 oz) |
1 | ts | Cinnamon |
1 | c | Cool water; (8 fl oz) |
1 1/2 | ts | Dry yeast |
Directions: Place all ingredients except yeast, raisins and cinnamon in kettle. Coat raisins with cinnamon, and set aside. Set timer for 20 minutes until first knead is complete. Place yeast in dispenser. Set Rapid Bake/Whole Wheat or Bake/Whole Wheat mode. At end of 20 minutes when first knead is done, add raisins coated with cinnamon, and they will be kneaded into dough in second knead. Allow to cool in machine.
Note: This is a recipe for 1-1/2 lb. loaf for Panasonic/National. If using other machine, adjust as necessary and add yeast, nuts and raisins at time recommended.
