Title: Blt,chicken & Pasta Salad

Yield: 4 Servings

DRESSING
1/3cReduced fat Mayonnaise
1/4cWater
1tbBottled barbecue sauce or
  Tomato chili sauce
1 1/2tsDistilled white vinegar
1/4tsPepper
12ozSkinless,boneless chicken
  Breast halves
8ozPasta twists (rotini)3 cups
4slTurkey bacon
3cBite-size pieces Boston,
  Romaine or Iceberg lettuce
1lgTomato, seeded if desired,
  And coarsely chopped

Mix all dressing ingredients in a large serving bowl until blended. Put chicken breast halves in a 6 qt. pot. Add just enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered 8-10 minutes until hciken is no longer pink in center. Remove with tongs or slotted spoon to cutting board to cool. Add enough wter to the pot to cook the pasta. Bring to a boil, add pasta and cook 9 minutes or until firm-tender. Drain well. While pasta boil, cook bacon in a skillet or micro wave until crisp. Drain on paper towel then cut in small pieces. Add hot pasta to dressing in bowl and toss to mix and coat. Tear chicken in bite-size pieces and add to bowl along with the bacon, lettuce and tomato. Toss gently to mix. Per Serving: 408 cal, 30 gm pro, 47 gm car, 10 g fat, 65mg chol, 390 mg sod. Women's Day 3/14/95
