Title: Cranberry-Jalapeno Relish

2 | Jalapeno chiles; fresh | |
12 | oz | Bag fresh cranberries; rinsed |
1 | c | Sugar |
1 | c | Orange juice; or water |
1/4 | c | Cilantro; chopped (optional) |
Mince chilies. For mild heat, discard seeds; for medium heat, leave seeds in. Place chilies, cranberries, sugar and liquid in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Lower heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove from heat; cool to room temperature. Stir in cilantro. Serve warm or cool. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
