3 | tb | Garlic granules or Powder |
1 1/2 | tb | Sesame seeds;toasted |
1/2 | tb | Onion powder |
1 1/2 | tb | Paprika |
1/2 | tb | Orange peel,grated * |
1/2 | ts | Red pepper;ground* |

Mix all together.

To make a no-fat thickening agent, sprinkle four on a shallow, non-stick cookie sheet or baking pan and slow-bake in the oven at 325^ fro 1 hour. Use this "roux" to thicken soups and stews by combining with a double amount of cold water, and whisk it smooth or shake in a jar. Slowly whisk this mixture into a simmering soup or stew, it will thicken once it reaches 180^.
