3tbGarlic granules or Powder
1 1/2tbSesame seeds;toasted
1/2tbOnion powder
1 1/2tbPaprika
1/2tbOrange peel,grated *
1/2tsRed pepper;ground*
  *Dried form

Mix all together.

To make a no-fat thickening agent, sprinkle four on a shallow, non-stick cookie sheet or baking pan and slow-bake in the oven at 325^ fro 1 hour. Use this "roux" to thicken soups and stews by combining with a double amount of cold water, and whisk it smooth or shake in a jar. Slowly whisk this mixture into a simmering soup or stew, it will thicken once it reaches 180^.
