2cBread flour
2cWhole wheat flour
1 1/2tbPowdered milk
1tsSalt
1 1/2tbShortening
2tbMolasses
1cWater
1 1/2tsYeast

Use dough cycle. Remove dough from machine. Divide the dough into 12 balls, cover with plastic wrap and rest 20 minutes. Then roll each ball into a 10 inch snake (on floured surface) and shape. Place on greased baking pan, spray with water and let rise for 30 to 50 minutes. Brush with beaten egg. Optional: Sprinkle on coarse salt or poppy seeds. Bake in 375~ oven for 15 to 22 minutes.
