Title: Pudding Mix Pecan Pie

Yield: 1 Pie
3 3/4 | oz | Vanilla pudding mix;(regular or instant) |
1 | c | White or dark corn syrup |
3/4 | c | Evaporated milk; (NOT sweetened condensed milk) |
1 | Egg; slightly beaten | |
1 | c | Chopped pecans |
1 | Unbaked 8-or 9-inch pie shell | |
Whole pecans for garnish - | ||

Blend dry pudding mix with the corn syrup. Gradually add evaporated milk and egg, mixing well. Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake on center shelf in preheated 375 degree oven until firm, about 35 minutes. Garnish with whole pecans, if desired. Cool at least 3 hours before cutting. Makes one pie.
