Title: Baked Cranberry Pudding

Yield: 6 Servings

2cFlour
1cSugar
1 1/2tsBaking powder
3tbShortening, melted
2/3cMilk
1 Egg
2cCranberries, halved

Sift dry ingredients into bowl. Add shortening, milk and egg. Beat for 2 minutes. Stir in cranberries. Bake in buttered 9-inch square pan at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Buttered Sauce:

1/2 cup butter 1 cup sugar 3/4 light cream

Melt butter in top of double boiler. Add sugar and liquid. Mix well. Cook over hot water for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot pudding.
