Title: Minuteman Quiches

1 | c | Margarine; softened |
2 | pk | 3-oz. cream cheese; softened |
2 | c | Flour |
2 | cn | 2.1/4-oz. deviled ham |
1 | md | Onion; chopped |
2 | ts | Margarine |
1/2 | c | American or Swiss cheese; grated |
2 | Eggs; lightly beaten | |
1/2 | c | Milk |
1 1/8 | ts | Nutmeg |

Cream together 1 cup of margarine and the cream cheese until light and fluffy. Gradually add the flour, making a smooth dough. Chill thoroughly. Shape the dough into 1" balls, and then press into twenty four 1.7/8" muffin cups. Spoon a small amount of deviled ham into each cup.
Saute the onion in 2 tsp margarine until soft but not brown. Toss with 1/4 cup of cheese, and sprinkle over the deviled ham. Combine the remaining cheese, eggs, milk, nutmeg, and pepper and spoon evenly into the cups. Bake in a 450~ oven for 10 mins. Reduce the heat to 350~ and bake for 15 mins., until the filling is set and the tops are golden brown. Serve warm. Makes 24 miniature quiches.
