5 | Medium sized cucumbers | |
(about 1 lb) | ||
2 | Garlic cloves, crushed | |
2 | Dried red chili peppers | |
Or 1/4 tspn hot red pepper | ||
Flakes | ||
5 | Allspice berries | |
2 | Bay leaves | |
10 | Black peppercorns | |
6 | Fresh dill sprigs | |
1 | c | Distilled vinegar |
1 | c | Water |
Peel, quarter and seed cucumbers. Put all ingredients into large bowl or into jars. Cover tightly. Refrigerate over night before eating.
