Title: Watermellon Rind Pickles

Yield: 1 Servings

Peel off green rind and cut off soft parts. Soak in very salted water for 24 hours, then drain. Boil in water until soft, drain again. Now take 2 parts sugar to 3 parts vinegar, 1 t mustard seed, 1 t whole cloves, stick of cinnamon. Boil 1/2 hour. Bottle and seal while boiling hot. Mrs. G. J. Curtis
