Title: Nora Pouillon's Lemongrass Sorbet

1 | c | Sugar |
2 | lg | Stalks lemongrass, crushed and sliced |
1 | One-inch piece of ginger root |
In a small saucepan, bring 4 cups water to a boil with the sugar, lemongrass and ginger. Simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool to room temp. Strain and chill. Freeze in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
