Title: Mr. Turkey Sausage & Vegetable Medley

1 | tb | Cornstarch |
1 | tb | Brown sugar |
1 | tb | Light soy sauce |
1/2 | ts | Ground ginger |
1 | c | Vegetable or chicken broth |
1 | pk | Mr. Turkey Smoked Sausage, cut into 1/4" slices (16oz) |
1 | tb | Oil |
4 | c | Assorted cut-up fresh vegetables |
3 1/3 | c | Hot cooked rice |
In small bowl, combine cornstarch, brown sugar, soy sauce and ginger. Gradually blend in broth until mixture is smooth; set aside. Coat large, non-stick skillet with vegetable spray. Brown sausage; remove. Add oil and vegetables to skillet. Cook, stirring 3-5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Add sausage and broth mixture. Cook, stirring until sauce thickens. Serve over hot rice. Makes 5 servings.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes. Cooking Time: 15 minutes. Serving Size: 1 cup turkey vegetable mixture (approimately 221 calories); 2/3 cups rice (approximately 176 calories).
