Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place turkey in roasting pan. Lift skin abov body cavity and insert butter slices. Rub oil all over skin on body of bir sprinkle with seasonings. Cover the top of the turkey with aluminum foil. the overlapping foil around the top of the roasting pan. Cover with lid al if available. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and figure amount of cooking time 20 minutes per pound. Remove foil during last 20 minutes of cooking to all skin to brown.[1-2]
