1/2	c	Butter
2	tb	Molasses
2		Eggs
1	c	Ground toasted almonds
1/2	ts	Grated lemon rind
1	ts	Almond extract
1/2	c	Amaretto
2	c	Whole wheat pastry flour

Cream together butter and molasses. Add eggs, ground almonds, lemon rind and almond extract; mix well. Stir in Amaretto alternately with flour. Drop by teaspoonsful onto unoiled cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Cookies will be golden brown when done. Makes 36 cookies
