1/2 | oz | Fennel seeds |
1/2 | oz | Mustard seeds |
1/2 | oz | Black onion seeds or - |
| | Raw sesame seeds |
1/2 | oz | Fenugreek seeds |
Combine all seeds for a nutty flavored mix. Use mix, toasted, to flavor
rice, beans or vegetable dishes. For example: to spice up 4 cups of cooked
rice, toast 2 tbsp. seed mix in 1 ts cooking oil, over low heat, about two
minutes or until seeds are slightly browned. For an elegant side dish, add
1/2 cup raisins and 1/4 cup coconut.
