1 | md | Head cabbage, finely shredded |
4 | Green onions, sliced | |
3/4 | c | Sugar |
3/4 | c | Vinegar |
1 1/2 | ts | Celery seed |
1 1/2 | ts | Salt |
3/4 | c | Vegetable oil |
In a large bowl, combine cabbage and onions. In a small saucepan, mix sugar, vinegar, celery seed and salt. Bring to a boil. Add oil. Return to boiling and cook until sugar dissolves. Pour over cabbage and toss gently. Serve either warm or cold.
