1 1/2 | lb | Lean ground beef |
1 | c | Fine dry bread crumbs |
1/2 | c | Egg beaters |
1/3 | c | Chopped onion |
1 | ts | Garlic powder |
1 | ts | Dried oregano leaves |
Reserve 1/4 cup tomato sauce. In a bowl combine beef, bread crumbs, egg
beaters, onion, garlic powder, oregano and remaining tomato sauce. Shape
into a 4 x 9 inch loaf. Place on a baking sheet. Bake at 375 deg f for 30
minutes. Spread remaining tomato sauce over the top. Bake another 20 to 30
minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 deg f. Makes 8 servings.
