Title: German Applesauce Meatloaf Aunt Matilda

1 1/2 | lb | Ground beef |
1/2 | lb | Ground pork |
1/2 | c | Onion, fine chopped |
1 | c | Applesauce |
1 | lg | Egg |
1 | c | Bread crumbs (see note) |
3 | tb | Ketchup |
2 | ts | Salt |
1/4 | ts | Pepper, black |
Preheat oven to 350 deg f. Lightly ooiol a 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan. In a large
bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Place meatloaf mixture in pan.
Bake 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Let cool 10 - 15 minutes. Turn out of pan. Slice and
serve. NOTE: if necessary, add more bread crumbs, a tablespoon at a time,
to make loaf firm.
