3 | tb | Essence of orange |
1/2 | c | White sugar |
1/2 | c | Water |
1/2 | c | Honey |
| | Cognac; for the balance |
In a saucepan, boil the sugar and the water until it makes a heavy syrup.
Allow this to cool and add the honey. Add the essence of orange, and stir
