Title: Dill Pickled Okra

Yield: 4 Jars
1 | kg | Okra pods |
SPICES | ||
A few celery leaves, | ||
1 | Clove of garlic, peeled | |
_ and split | ||
1 | Sprig dill | |
2 | Slices Pimento | |
PICKLE SOLUTION | ||
2 2/3 | Cups water | |
1 2/3 | Cups white vinegar | |
2 | tb | Salt |
Scrub okra, pack into 4 jars.
In each jar insert the spices.
In a saucepan bring the pickle solution to the boil. Stir well and pour boiling liquid over okra and seal tightly. Let stand 3 weeks before serving.
