Title: Whole Wheat Bread or Burger Buns - Joann Rachor

Yield: 3 Servings
3 | c | Warm water |
2 | tb | SWEETENER |
1 1/2 | tb | Yeast |
1 | tb | Salt |
1/4 | c | Oil, optional |
8 | c | To 9 whole wheat flour |
Follow mixing directions for basic whole wheat bread. This recipe will make 3 1-pound or 2 large loafs. For buns divide dough into 18-20 pieces. Shape into balls then flatten slightly by pressing between palms. Place on oiled cookie sheets, not quite touching. Let rise until doubled. Bake at 350F. 25-35 minutes, until golden brown.
Variations:
For lighter bread replace 3 cups whole wheat flour with white flour.
