1 | pt | Milk |
1/4 | c | Shortening |
1 | pt | Water |
1 | c | Sugar |
4 | lb | Flour |
1 | tb | Salt |
1 | Egg | |
1 | oz | Yeast |
Heat milk to a boil, put yeast in pan and break egg over it, add enough water to dissolve yeast. Cool milk to lukewarm, add water, sugar, salt, yeast and eggs, stir well and mix with flour. Let rise, then place three together in clusters and let rise again. Bake in oven 302 (?) degrees.
