Title: Festive Egg Nog Bread

Yield: 1 Servings
2 1/2 | c | All purpose flour |
1 | c | White sugar |
1 | tb | Baking powder |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
3/4 | ts | Nutmeg |
3 | Eggs, beaten | |
1 | c | Half and half (or cream) |
1/3 | c | Vegetable oil |
1 1/2 | ts | Vanilla extract |
1 1/2 | ts | Brandy extract |
1 | ts | Almond extract |
1/2 | c | Chopped almonds |
1/2 | c | Maraschino cherries |
In mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. In separate container beat together eggs, half and half, oil, and the three extracts. Stir into dry ingredients; mix well. Fold in nuts and cherries. Turn into two greased loaf pans. Bake at 350F for 40-45 minutes. Cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove from pans and cool on rack. Makes 2 loaves, 10 servings each.
