Title: Delicious Rye Bread (Machine)

Yield: 1 Servings
2 1/2 | ts | Dry yeast |
2 1/4 | c | Bread flour |
3/4 | c | Medium rye flour |
1 1/2 | ts | Salt |
1 1/2 | tb | Sugar |
1 1/2 | tb | Dry skim milk |
4 1/2 | ts | Shortening or sweet butter |
1 1/2 | ts | Caraway seeds |
1 1/2 | c | Less 3 Tbls lukewarm water |
****** Directions ******
Place ingredients in pan in above order. Select WHITE BREAD setting. Push START.
I use 2 cups of white - tastes just fine without the caraway seeds, especially for those of us with dentures that can't handle dem darn seeds! :-)
