Title: Teddy Bear Gift Bread

1 1/2 | c | Flour; all-purpose |
1/2 | c | Flour; whole wheat |
1/2 | c | Brown sugar |
3/4 | c | Granulated sugar |
3 | ts | Baking powder |
1/4 | ts | Baking soda |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1 | ts | Pumpkin pie spice |
1/2 | ts | Cinnamon |
1/4 | ts | Ginger |
1 | Egg; beaten | |
1 | c | Milk |
1 1/2 | tb | Canola oil |
Candy to decorate | ||

Preheat the oven to 350øF.
Grease or spray baking pan well with nonstick cooking spray.
In a food processor or large mixing bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together. Add the egg, milk and oil. Mix just until blended.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until knife comes out clean when inserted in middle. Let cool and then remove from pan onto a flat surface.
Use candy to decorate. Try jelly beans for the eyes, a nonpareil for the nose, red shoe string licorice for the mouth, black shoe string for a bowtie and jelly beans for buttons. ** Dallas Morning News -- Neighborhood Shopper -- 11 Dec 96 **
