Yield: 1 Servings

1	c	Chopped dates
1	tb	Soda
1	c	Boiling water
		Combine. Let stand till cool
		Then cream together:
1	c	Sugar
1	tb	Butter
1		Egg
1 1/2	c	Flour
1	ts	Vanilla
1/2	c	Nut meats

Mix with date mixture. Bake in a loaf or tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Randy Rigg
