Title: White Buttermilk Cake

2 | c | White sugar |
2 | Unbeaten egg whites | |
1 | ts | Soda |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1/2 | c | Margarine |
2 3/4 | c | Cake flour |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1 3/4 | c | Buttermilk |
Cream together sugar, margarine and egg whites. In another bowl, sift together 2 or 3 times the cake flour and salt. Then combine buttermilk, soda and vanilla separately. Add dry and liquid mixtures about 1/3 at a time. Pour into 2 9 inch pans or a 13 x 9 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Randy Rigg
