1 | lb | Fat pork |
1 | c | Coffee |
2 | c | Brown sugar |
1 | Box of raisins | |
1 1/2 | c | Nuts |
3 | c | Flour |
1 | ts | Baking soda |
1 | ts | Cinnamon |
1 | ts | Nutmeg |
Mix well. Grease and flour tube cake pan. Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Baking time is 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Moisten white cloth with wine and put it over the cake for 1 or 2 weeks before you plan to serve it. Dampen cloth with wine when it gets dry. My grandmother also used 1 lb of pork sausage if pork fat was unavailable. Randy Rigg
