Title: Pineapple Plantation Cake

3 | tb | Margarine or butter |
1/2 | c | Brown sugar |
6 | Slices canned pineapple | |
12 | Maraschino cherries | |
Ginger cake mix |
Melt the 3 T butter or margarine in an 8x2 inch square pan. Add the 1/2 cup of brown sugar and well-drained pineapple slices and cherries. Fill 2/3 full with gingercake batter and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. May substitute white or yellow cake mix.
