Title: Vegetarian Mincemeat

1lbFresh ripe pears, chopped
1 Lemon rind, grated
1 Orange rind, grated
1lbMixed dried fruit
4ozCandied peel
4ozGlace cherries
4ozDates, chopped
2ozFlaked almonds
1tsAllspice
1/2tsNutmeg
1/2tsPowdered ginger
4tbWhisky or other liquid

Mix all the ingredients together & let stand for 1 to 2 hours. Store in air-tight jars. Use as regular mincemeat.
