Title: Judy Chapman's Dill Pickles

Yield: 1 Batch

3qtWater
1qtVinegar
1cPickling salt
8 Hot peppers
8clGarlic
1/8tsPowdered alum
  Dill

Bring water, vinegar and salt to a boil. Pack clean cucumbers in jars. Add 1 or 2 hot peppers, 2 cloves garlic, 2 ts. dill seed or equal fresh dill and 1/8 ts. alum in each jar. fill jars with boiling liquid and seal.

Process in boiling water vath 10 minutes, if desired.
