2 Finely chopped red chili peppers or
2tbChili powder
1/4cFinely chopped onion
3tbFinely chopped green pepper
1tbButter
8ozCan tomato sauce
1/4cWater
1 Garlic clove, minced
1dsBlack or red pepper

Using a small skillet cook chopped onion, green pepper, garlic, and chili pepper in butter, till tender. Add tomato sauce, water, and pepper. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
