2 | lb | Steak, cut 1/2 square |
1/2 | c | Dried onions |
2 | | Celery ribs, chopped |
1 | | Green peppers, chopped |
1 | | Pickled banana peppers |
1/4 | c | Banana pepper juice |
1 | ts | Chopped garlic |
1 | | Bay leaf |
2 | oz | Chili powder |
2 | ts | Cumin |
1 | ts | Oregano |
1 | ts | Onion powder |
1 | ts | Paprika |
1 | ts | Instant beef boullion |
1 | ts | Salt |
1/4 | c | Bbq. sauce |
1/4 | c | Ketchup |
1 | pn | Crushed red pepper |
1 | pn | Basil |
1 | pn | Thyme |
1/2 | ts | Black pepper |
1/4 | c | Tabasco |
Peppers should be mild banana peppers, seeded and chopped. Brown both the
ground beef and beef cubes. Drain most of the fat. Combine all ingredients
in a large pot. Simmer for 2 hours. Correct seasonings and simmer for 1
