Title: Kaneohe Banana Fritters

1cFlour
2tsBaking powder
1tbSugar
1 Egg, separated
1/4 Lemon juice
3/4cMilk
  Bananas, halved or cut into
  Diagonal pieces

Sift together flour, baking powder and sugar. Combine egg yolk and lemon juice (recipe does not stipulate amount, but I would assume it was 1/4 cup) and add to dry ingredients. Add milk slowly. Beat egg white. Fold in last. Dip bananas in batter and fry in deep fat. Serve hot. John Grote
