Title: Pansit (Noodles with Pork)

1 | tb | Oil |
2 | Cloves garlic, crushed | |
1 | lb | Pork sliced thin OR |
1 | lb | Ground pork |
1/2 | lb | Fresh shrimp, chopped |
1 | Small onion, sliced | |
6 | Dried mushrooms (pre-soaked | |
And sliced thin) | ||
2 1/2 | c | Chicken broth |
Salt and pepper to taste | ||
1 | pk | Long rice |
2 | pk | Dried noodles |
Green onion, sliced thin |
Heat oil, fry garlic and pork til slightly browned Add shrimp and fry til shrimp turns pink. Add onions and mushrooms. Fry about 1 minute, then add chicken broth, salt and pepper; bring to a boil. Then simmer about 5-10 minutes. Soak long rice til soft, then cut into 2" lengths. Add long rice, then noodles. Garnish with green onions. Shirley Macadangdang
