Wash and cut several handsful of plato leaves in small pieces. Meanwhile, have the meat (ham, beef, chicken, etc.) in pan with not too much water. Add onion and seasoning. Add the plato leaves to the soup after removing meat, together with a pinch of soda to soften the leaves. When it starts to boil, beat with spoon. Let it cook very slowly. When it boils down, add meat and a pint of palm oil. Simmer until all the water is gone. Serve hot.
