Title: Pili Pili

Yield: 1 Cup
10 | Habanero chilies, stemmed | |
1/2 | Lemon, juice only | |
1/2 | md | Onion, yellow |
1/2 | c | Olive oil |
1 | md | Garlic clove |
1 | pn | Oregano |
Chop chilies, onion and garlic in a processor. Add other ingredients and blend. Refrigerate (sauce keeps 2 weeks). Makes 1 cup.
Variations: In Berlin, this sauce is made with fresh ginger. Or, omit olive oil and serve Pili Pili as a relish with grilled meat.
