1/2 | lb | Ground pork |
1/2 | lb | Ground beef |
1/2 | c | Corn chips; crushed |
1/2 | c | Green onions; thinly sliced |
1/2 | c | Bottled chili sauce |
1 | lg | Egg |
1 1/4 | ts | Chili powder |
3/4 | ts | Salt |
1/2 | ts | Ground pepper |
Combine meats, corn chips, green onions, 1/4 cup chili sauce, egg, chili
powder, salt & pepper in medium bowl. Mix to blend well. Divid mixture in
half. Shape each half into 3/4" high oval and place sise by side in 8"
square x 2" deep baking pan. Spread remaining chili sauce over meat loves,
dividing equally. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Bake uncovered until
juices run clear when centers are pierced with a small sharp knife, about
20 minutes.
